Martin enjoys writing since an early age, but doesn’t consider himself a writer or an aspiring
writer. He writes for the joy of writing, of communicating his thoughts and feelings.

His writing is sharply influenced by his Christian, ethical, music, and academic backgrounds.
Sometimes naïve, sometimes acid, he’s consistently nostalgic and pensive.

Martin enjoys foreign languages: he speaks Portuguese, Spanish, and French. Because of his
studies and internships, he’s lived for some time in Montreal, La Plata, Bonn, New York, Geneva,
and Budapest.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, a Bachelor of Laws (the first law degree in Brazil),
a Specialization certificate in Environmental Law, and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International
Legal Studies. He’s been living and practicing law since 2011 in Porto Alegre, Brazil.
